Honoring Hispanic Heritage Month

Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month by recognizing the influence and achievements of the diverse cultures within the Hispanic community.  We also recognize the accomplishments and contributions of Hispanic American champions who have inspired others to achieve success. Here are some ways to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month: ·       Coordinate an event to support a local Hispanic restaurant, museum, or venue. ·       Host a “movie night”, get together with friends and family, and watch a Spanish film ·       Make a donation to a Hispanic focused cause ·       Learn to speak Spanish ·       Take a cooking class hosted by a Latin chef ·       Sign up for Latin dance classes and learn how to salsa, rumba, meringue, or mambo ·       Share what Hispanic Heritage Month means to you on social media
